Eligibility details of BSF Water Wing Online Form 2023
- SI (Master)
- 10+2 or it is equivalent from a recognized Board or University. OR
- 2nd class master certificate issued by Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority/Mercantile Marine Department.
- SI (Engine Driver)
- 10+2 or it is equivalent from a recognized Board or University. OR
- 1st class engine driver certificate issued by Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority/ Mercantile Marine Department.
- SI (Workshop)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; OR
- 03 years diploma in Mechanical/ Marine/ Auto Mobile Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- HC (Master)
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; OR
- Serang Certificate.
- HC (Engine Driver)
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; OR
- possessing 2nd class Engine Driver certificate.
- HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol) & Machinist
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; OR
- ITI Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) for HC (Workshop)-Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine) from a recognized Institution; OR
- ITI Diploma in Machinist for HC (Workshop)-Machinist from a recognized Institution.
- Constable (Crew)
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; OR
- One year experience in the operation of a Boat below 265 HP;
- Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance.
