RRB Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Technicians Application Status

RRB Railway has released RRB Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Technicians Application Status for CENs (CEN 01/2018: Assistant Loco Pilot /Technicians and CEN 02/2018: Level-I posts). RRB advised that application scrutiny is in final stages and is likely to be completed by first week of July, 2018. Thereafter the status of the candidates will be uploaded on the website of all the RRBs. Computer Based Written Tests for Assistant Loco Pilot /Technicians and Level-I posts are likely to commence in August/September, 2018. Exact dates will be advised through RRBs’ websites in due course.

Scale of pay:

Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 19900/- plus other allowances as admissible.

Educational Qualification (As on 31.08.2018):

For Assistant Loco Pilot: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Armature and Coil Winder / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Heat Engine / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic Motor Vehicle / Millwright Maintenance Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & TV / Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic / Tractor Mechanic / Turner / Wireman OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.

3 years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR) Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI. Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

For Technician Trade: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the related trade or Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trade.

Age (As on 01.07.2018):

Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years, Upper age relaxation extra as per Govt. rules.

Fee (Online or Offlice):

  • General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/-
  • All Female/SC/ST/Pwd/Ex/EBC Candidates: Rs. 250/-

Stages of Exam:

There shall be two stages examination (First stage CBT and Second Stage CBT) common for ALP and Technician. In addition, candidates who have opted for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT have to undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT). Marks will be normalized in all the stages of exam.

  • Read the notification carefully
  • Click on “Click here to Apply for CEN 01/2018″
  • Click on “New Registration” if candidate would be the new user.
  • Fill all the details & submit the form.
  • Take a print out of online application form for future use.
